Elizabeth "Lizzie" Easton-Cagala is the owner and resident trainer at Rising Storm Stables. She’s excelled as a hunter/jumper for more than 20 years, with her passion for horses beginning at the young age of 5. At 11 years old, Lizzie began competitively showing at events held throughout Southern California, and quickly garnering awards and medals.

One of her earliest highlights came in 2005, when Lizzie represented the United States as a member of Young Riders for the USEF Zone 10.

“That was an amazing experience,” Lizzie said. It was her goal to qualify for Young Riders — a culmination, she explains, that came from her hard work and dedication to the sport.  As a result, that achievement seasoned her for what became years of competing at the Grand Prix level.

Her passion for riding continues on at her barn, where her extensive experience can help take any horse and rider from green to Grand Prix.
